‘The Dream Library’ presents a series of studio mock-ups and 1:1 prototypes that have been developed for a library project during its construction phase at Dryden Street Primary in Salt River, Cape Town.

This studio exhibition reflects our hands-on approach to design and detailing. Working alongside technical drawings, the studio is viewed as a to-scale replica of what happens during construction and visa-versa.
Displayed alongside recent construction updates, the showcase highlights the brief moment when construction details are simultaneously in the studio and on site. At the time of the exhibition relevant focus points included:
A new pedant light
playful brick patterns + water fountain
Letter signage
Window seat bookshelf joinery
The Dream Library Exhibition was part of the ‘Think, Make, Braai!’ Open Studio event and group show at The Ramp, Cape Town.
